African American male youth needed for Paid Research Study in Oakland, CA

We got this from our friends at the Mitchell Kapor Foundation and figured we’d spread the word. Young black men – get paid $50 for your thoughts on technology!  

Subject:  Are you an African-American male ages 14-17?  We want your feedback for a PAID research study.

We are an independent research firm conducting research in the areas of technology usage.  We’re looking for young African-American males who are interested in participating in a one and half hour focus group in Oakland, CA (near BART) on September 27th and September 28th in the afternoon.

If you qualify, you will receive $50 and a pizza dinner!

Please note the following:

  • This is for marketing research purposes—no sales are involved! We will not use your contact information for any other reason, nor will we share it with anyone else.
  • We will have to ask you a series of questions to see if you qualify.  It’s important that you answer honestly.
  • You should feel comfortable talking about personal topics such as your favorite things to do with friends and family, and how you use personal and mobile technology.
